Hello! My name is Gloria N and I am a female home carer with 3 years of experience in live-in and hourly care. Some of my attributes that I take pride in are being caring, friendly and helpful. I am motivated to care for others because I truly believe in assisting people in leading independent lives. Although I do not drive or have a car, transportation has never been an issue for me as I am dedicated to being available when my clients need me.
In my past experience, I have gained skills in bathing, toileting, assistance with dressing, catheter care, and companionship. Additionally, I have worked with individuals experiencing mild cognitive impairment, bedbound, Parkinson's disease, anxiety and depression. It brings me joy to be able to provide care for those who need it most, especially when their families trust me to be there for them.
When I'm not working, I enjoy taking walks around my neighbourhood. I'm perfectly OK with pets as I feel they can be such a wonderful addition to everyone's life.
